Opola Karim is a Toronto based artist and educator, experienced in working with mixed media and adding embellishments.
Her work explores the interplay between her Bangladeshi-Canadian roots, abstract storytelling, and self-development. She creates with the purpose of using art to bring “raang” (color), unity, mental-health, self-healing, social reform, and beauty to the world.

She enjoys both crafts and fine art.
Her specialty is painting “self-portrait” mandalas that reflect her clients’ stories and personalities through color, form, and pattern. In turn, bringing a sense of hope, self-love, vibrancy and healing.
She is expanding her work in larger scales, murals and hopes to open a gallery in struggling communities, for youth to showcase their creativity.
